National Gathering of Pharmacy Students (NoGAPS)

Registration Guide
NoGAPS serves to provide a channel for pharmacy students in Malaysia to gather together and exchange ideas. There's a variety of workshops and symposium which allow students to learn skills, knowledge and gaining insights that aren't taught in the normal lectures. Networking is also part of a students' assets in aiding them in their future career, so make sure you don't miss the chance!

Note: This event is opened for pharmacy students of all year, year 1 and year 2 students are highly recommended to join this event when there are no commitments to attachments yet. You don't need to have any particular skill sets to join this event, so just go and have fun!
National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC)

The National Pharmacy Sports Carnival (NPSC) is an annual event that gathers all pharmacy students across the country in a show of athletic prowess, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This event allows students to compete for sports at the national level and form bonds with players in other universities.
Since 2006, the event has successfully gathered well over 1000 students from 19 pharmacy schools in Malaysia.

Note: This event is opened for pharmacy students of all year, the selection will be based on the students' performance in the Pharmsalympics, strive for the best during Pharmsalympics to earn yourself a chance to represent AIMST in NPSC!
National Pharmacy Research Competition (NPRC)

Registration Guide
As the name stated, NPRC provides a platform for undergraduate pharmacy students to showcase their research
ideas and results that provides visibility for their work. It also encourages students to meet and interact with other NPRC participants by sharing ideas, gaining new insights and understanding possible practical applications.

Note: This event is opened for pharmacy students to the fourth-year students who have just completed their research project the previous year unless the lecturer recommends otherwise for other year students to assist the fourth-year students. Research topics in any pharmacy-related fields are welcomed to join!
National Pharmacy Competition (NPC)

Registration Guide
The competition will consist of 3 challenges, namely:
- Piala Aishah Compounding Challenge (PA)
- Pharmacy Quiz Challenge (QC)
- Clinical Pharmacy Challenge (CC)

For Pharmacy Quiz Challenge (QC), topics of the questions provided will be covering the topics of Physiology, Biochemistry, Immunology, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry, Pathology, Pharmacology, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamics, Sterile and Aseptic
Techniques, Clinical Pharmacy, and Pharmacy Practice.

For Clinical Pharmacy Challenge (CC) will be covering the topics of Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacy, Applied Pharmacotherapeutics, and Clinical Pharmacokinetics.
​
In Piala Aishah Compounding Challenge (PA), the competition covers the topic of Extemporaneous Compounding of selected products of either solid (suppositories, powders), semi-solid (creams, ointments, pastes) or liquid (solutions, emulsions, suspensions) dosage forms.
​
Note: Students to represent AIMST to this competition will be selected by the advisor based on the students' academic performance. Mainly for year 4 students.
National Pharmacy Debate Competition (NPDC)

Registration Guide
NPDC serves to promote healthy competition in terms of general knowledge and personal
soft skills among pharmacy students nationwide and develop students’ critical thinking skills through debating. Current healthcare and social related issues will be further discussed in this competition.

Young Entrepreneur Program (YEP)

Registration Guide
YEP which stand for Young Entrepreneur Program is an event organized by the Malaysian Pharmacy Students' Association (MyPSA) which intent to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship among pharmacy students in Malaysia. YEP serves as a great place platform for pharmacy students to think outside the box, and bring out the 'PHARMTREPRENEUR' in you!

A series of talks and workshops conducted may revolve around presenting skills, basic commerce concepts and financial literacy.
​
Note: This event is opened for pharmacy students of all year, there is no need for knowledge and background of entrepreneurship to join this event. Join if you're interested, there will be unexpected benefits that will help you a lot in your presentation and critical thinking.
Metamorphosis - Developing Leaders

Year 1 and 2

Metamorphosis is an initiative between MyPSA and MPS-YPC to enhance the leadership skills among pharmacy students. This is a one-year event will happen over three phases: boot camp, mentorship, and appraisal.

This event allows students to discover leadership style and develop leadership skills which prepare them to take leadership roles in MyPSA, university associations, and other external associations.
​
Note: This event is opened for pharmacy students of year 1 and year 2 as personal development is crucial for you to be prepared in the internships and working environment in the future.
Pharmacy Graduate Career Forum (PGCF)

Registration Guide
Pharmacy Graduates Forum (PGF) is a program organized by the Malaysian Pharmacy Students’ Association (MyPSA) to help the pharmacy graduates who are mostly in a dilemma now to open their eyes to the various alternatives available in the pharmaceutical sector and hence, to choose the right move in selecting their career pathway. Furthermore, this program will help pharmacy graduates to clearly understand the process to apply for PRP status. Through PGF, more passionate young pharmacists will be born and hence, together as one, upholding the nation’s pharmaceutical professionalism.

Note: This event is opened for pharmacy students of all year, although it looks like for year 3 and 4 students, but its never too early to start planning and gain some insights for your future career!
