The logo described the Bowl of Hygieia. The Bowl of Hygieia is originated from Greek mythology and is universally depicted as a serpent wrapped in one manner or another around a bowl. 

The ‘Rx’ sign embodied on the bowl is derived from the Latin word ‘recipe’, meaning ‘to take’. It is customarily part of the superscription (heading) of a prescription. Surrounding the Bowl of Hygieia is the name of the society ‘Pharmaceutical Society of AIMST’.

Membership and Privileges

​

1. Any student pursuing any courses (B. Pharm, M. Pharm and Ph.D) provided by the Faculty of Pharmacy, AIMST University, and they will automatically be granted membership once enrolled in the course of study. The membership lasts until the student graduates. 

2. Validity of the membership lasts throughout the period of the course of study. 

   • A person’s membership will be automatically ceased when the person is no longer enrolling in the above stated courses. 

3. All Members shall have the following privileges:

   • Receive regular publications and information about the Society

   • Participate in events organized by the Society

   • Involve as an organizing committee in the Society’s events

   • Purchase the Faculty corporate shirt

Official Corporate Shirt

​

1. The official corporate shirt is designed to represent professionalism, team spirit and constant branding of the Society.

2. The second and fourth Thursday of each month is the official corporate shirt day. All     Members are encouraged to wear the official corporate shirt on that day.
